Where do you stash stuff? Was thinking about taking metro link down to do the race, but then, I have no place to leave things like wallet, phone, keys etc. Probably just leave most of it at work, but just wondering what your plan is.

hadn't really worked out a plan. Metro sounds like an idea. I guess I would treat it like any run, have super light pack that I'll stash at the timing tent w snack and water, carry key and ID/money in hp pocket.

I'd like to do this race too, get in another 6:20-30 training race. had not worked out the logistics either though I like the metrolink idea. guess could probably get away with just minimal cash, like <$10, leave phone wallet keys back at work, take only what I'm willing to part with. ?? except for my metro pass and work id, have to secure in race shorts pocket. I found out the hard way the fare checkers insist on work ID, had to spend a morning in metrolink court in Clayton, fare violations are a misdemeanor punishable up to 60 days in county jail.

Don't forget Festival of Miles Thursday night at SLUH track. High level races from high school to elite, everything you need to be inspired for Riverfront mile. I've seen Hannah Long, Colleen Quigley, Emily Sisson and other high school standouts before they make the jump to college and pro careers, Grant Fisher break 4 minutes as a high school student, Leo Manzano and Jordan McNamara hit 3:55XX in 2 different races. Maybe the biggest of the big names aren't there this year, but I don't think that really matters if you love running.

Riverfront Mile online race fee is already the full $35 even though they advertised $30 until June 1 . . . plus a $3.38 online reg fee. so just gonna reg at race for $35.

Festival of Miles entry is included in RM. but you do have to pre register since its the day before, then you can pick up your bib at FOM

mb, are you saying the $35 today is really $5 for FOM entry and $30 for Riverfront mile? pricing is very unclear on the BRR pages. just looked over the FOM entry and nothing about Riverfront mile reg fee counting toward the FOM. I mean, $5 is not a lot to help a person in need. it's just I already help a lot of people in need with monthly planned giving. just nice to have the pricing clear. sometimes lack of clarity in pricing is a marketing tactic and I really resent being marketed to.

This - from the race instructions I forwarded you, make of it what you will:

*We highly recommend picking up your packet at the Festival of Miles. Your Riverfront Mile Bib will get you into the meet for free and you can see some of the country’s best athletes compete!!

OK, confirmed that with BRR . . . would be nice to know that up front rather than AFTER reg . . .
