Almost, I whited out most of the map so I had to rely more on my compass than map reading.

That is a challenging technique training. Having flags or streamers at the controls would certainly help the confidence that you made it to the right place before changing direction and heading to the next flag.

Good use of OCAD to make a well known park a bit more demanding too, if you've run on these particular maps a lot.

Nah no streamers today. I picked very obvious features though, and it was mostly open fields so I could usually pick out what I was looking for once I got close. The real challenge came on the legs where I had to detour around large impassables and find my way back to the line.

Ah, boxing (doing three sides of a box) - one of my less favorite techniques from military land nav, which tends to focus almost exclusively on azimuth and pace count.

Nice technique training, looks like you're using your training time effectively!

Looks like you missed a few.

I started bailing out when it started outright pouring with a massive thundercloud over my head. Bit then suddenly the cloud passed by and the sun came back out with a rainbow so I thought it'd actually be ok to get a few more.

I did skip the last few though. Got a bit tired and wasn't feeling it anymore.
