I had two drivers take corners faster than they should have yesterday so as to not have a lousy cyclist hold them up for a couple of seconds - one from behind turned left across in front of me and another didn't wait for my right of way at a roundabout.

No, that is a different league. Actually I once had a drongo get out of his car and threaten me in Perth; seems like that is taught at driving school there??
