I contemplated skipping today, but I saw that you had gotten a workout in, and that was motivation enough for me, today. Thank you.
And I'm being motivated by the both of you. I kick started my program this week putting out the rogaine controls; hopefully I can keep it up once it's over.
We've certainly got things backwards!
Let's see, Valerie is training all the time and has dropped 22 pounds. And Sandy is up to 18 hours this week. I am clearly the slacker... :-)
The way I see it is this - these days, you are seemingly more like me, and less god like - things hurt, so exercising can be less enjoyable than it used to be, making motivation more tenuous at times, and, perhaps you have gotten, um, a little chunky. OK, hopefully, the last one made you laugh.
Anyway, it makes me smile to see you getting out, even at a slower pace or trying something new. Real life. So, yes, it can motivate me to keep on moving as well.
