Discussion: Clematis, Peonies and poison ivy

Nice! I have all three of these phenomena myself at the moment :) The Peonies just opened on Wed. The clematis is about done. It has good years and bad. I've been trying to train it onto an arbor for years. Last year it was lush, this year just so-so. I got P.O. on my hands and arms last weekend while cutting back the honeysuckle on a collapsed section of fence that needs mending. The neighbor says just hack it all down - it'll grow back. But its blooming now and smells great. I'm trying to work around it, but its a jungle and I need to set two new posts and 9 rails (half on a steep hill).
