Not so. I wanted 18km measured via orienteering - straight line. I also wanted to move at 20-25min.per mile. Was at my three hour goal in four hours, for example.
Then went fairly brain-dead.

That area around 55/49 is the same area I got all turned around in a few years ago when I was on a Green course up there. Somebody had just told me that they saw a bear, and in my haste to get out of the area I let the veg push me and push me until I was far W instead of SE where the next control was located. Ended up near that three fingered pond above all the pink Xs and so messed up that I couldn't figure out what body of water it was.
Ready for action at a rogaine at 77 is something I should aim for.
Julie: wish I had a bear-sighting as a defense, or magnetic confusion or something.
Bob: you'll be doing rogaines (in your shorts) when you're in your 90's! We will need another category as "ultra-vet" won't do (already doesn't do it for me).
