Got the first racer communication the other day. It looks like there will be a bit of a hike to move the boats from the TA to the water and back I suppose.

Something to think about, I might be wrong but doesn't your boat have a wheel at the back? Might still be a bit of a trek. They are allowing boat carts which tells me it must be serious.

Mine does have a wheel. Going downhill no problem, but looking at the topo map, its a 250 - 300 foot climb. I'm not sure, I don't know what happens if you don't get it back up the hill?

I don't know either, does it have to go back to the transition area? maybe we can leave them at the boat ramp, it does look pretty small so maybe that's why they are doing everything from the transition area. On the other hand, I would think the rental's wouldn't have boat carts so they must have some sort of plan.

I guess we will find out, but it looks painful.

There are plenty of painful things there from the looks of things, looks rocky with lots of up and down. No spike shoes this time, I bet there will be lots of controls at rock arches and caves and such.
