it has evolved . . . currently from WG residential streets . . .
north on Edgar Rd across Hwy 44 bridge
east on Garden by Webster U library
east on Big Bend through Old Orchard
east on Greenwood into Maplewood/ St Louis city
jog east on Maple
north on McCausland
east on Manchester
north on Macklind
east on Oakland by Science Center
north through the tunnel under 40 and into FP
east on Clayton Ave
and onto the med campus!
how about you, at Cortex right?
Similar route. I don't like going down the Big Bend hill with traffic and the light at Shrewesbury.
Lockwood to Summit.
Summit to the train tracks
then right on pacific
deer creek trail to big bend
up the sidewalk to Greenwood (it's one way in the other direction and it's a bit dicey bc of gravel)
Greenwood to Maple/Marshall to Manchester
Sometimes the Macklind/Oakland/Tunnel/Clayton route
First place I hit appreciable traffic is Manchester and then, only to McCausland.
OK, I know that way, on the pm commute home, I take Greenwood to that gravel patch by the Family Video and then continue on sidewalk up Big Bend to Laclede then hop on the street there.
I'll have to check out that Summit to Pacific route. I don't mind going down Big Bend on the street because I'm basically going as fast as the car traffic. usually do have to stop at the light at Shrewsbury but I just cross on the ped bridge, hop over that dumb little curb they added, thanks street designers!
