Ah, yes - I forgot to pick your brain about other stuff this weekend. Can't imagine how that happened. When you get a moment, if you have any wisdom to share on teaching, I'd be interested. Experiences or areas of study that you've found helpful or interesting, challenges you'd like to see addressed, etc. I think I remember reading that you had your classes out orienteering before you moved overseas?
Why I'm interested: I think after our gap year(s) I'm going back to school (maybe even in Boston) for a PhD in education that allows me to do research in special ed / neuropsychology / whatever else catches my interest. I think I see myself coming up with alternatives to traditional classroom experiences, probably with a large outdoor component. There's a good chance some orienteering may be involved.
