looks pretty good . . .

I slept in will try the maplewood track tonight after work, though usually low energy, but last chance to test the legs before MO Senior.

the only motivation I can muster for this Sat is eating at Seoul Taco and Strange donuts in Columbia . . . afterward! though I could create my own "Strange Donuts" Senior Games 1500 by chowing down a donut every 400m. haha. they might add it to the games along with . . . "Cornhole". I'm really afraid to learn what Cornhole is.

yes... brilliant choice of words. you got to hand it to them. I too am thinking about the time between the 1500 and the 800 to hit some cool restaurant. Main Squeeze is my kind of place. Have decided I have to go even if its 90 deg and 80% humid like last time:). Have to take my chances while I got them.

ouch, just checked the weather . . . high of 97F ! but only 46% humid . . .

totally forgot about the 800m . . . no would not eat inbetween those races.

yeah, it's only once per year and I already paid. so those are two points in favor of going. the workout today would have to be a disaster to really make me not want to race. it could happen, fingers crossed. I felt tired even on the bike commute this morning, geez, don't know what is going on. have to start tracking JD points, though I have cut my run mileage way back for weekend races. ??

just think how nice and loose your muscles will be in the heat . . . no warmup needed . . .

not sure it works that way, besides there is the aerobic engine to wake up... but I can tell you one thing, I wont be doing 100m strides 2 minutes before the start of the race this time.

haha, that was funny. the official at the start line was checking names . . . "Rudy" . . . where is Rudy? what, he is doing his warmup sprints on the infield two minutes before race start! you were definitely warmed up! well, I can't talk, you certainly ran faster than me. I don't even know who will be there this year, likely those KC Smoke guys again. Geez, I have to suffer the humiliation of getting beat by cross-state rivals again. Oh, the humanity.
