nice work, sounds like you had a good time. when you texted you were considering not doing the 800, thought that was "crazy-talk" given the long drive out there. you got your money's worth!
coming week could be a big week of racing . . . BRR 1M TT . . . Edwardville 1500, Webster 5K . . . it's race time!
the weather actually felt a bit more bearable at 2:30 than 11:30. edwardsville was looking interesting, with a predicted dip in hot temps...but their performance lists have zero people signed up for masters 1500. too little lead time, not enough publicity?
maybe if I were running more competitive times . . . guess I'll stick with the local free stuff. I doubt if I can even run a 6:30 miles this Wed. probably closer to the 7:00 I did at Riverfront given time of day, heat and humidity. coming to terms with that. not the end of the world.
at least you'll almost certainly have people to run with.
