well, don't feel bad, it was 85 degrees and 60% humidity. tough conditions for a tough workout.

I was still feeling the Hub ride from the day before . . . but it's going to be 90F+ and high humidity for awhile so have to adjust expectations. I ran a 6:37 last Aug at the Fleet Feet mile TT in worse conditions, little did I know how difficult it would be to get back to even that level.

JD calls for a 3x1T workout so thinking about doing that Wed and let the BRR TT be the first rep. it would be a real challenge to crank out 7:00 pace for all three reps even at 7pm. I seriously doubt I could do it. but looks like a little suffering is on the menu.

well, in all, if I can get away from focus on time and just enjoy the work of the training I will be in a lot better mental place. I'm not quite done beating myself up yet.

you can do it. way to keep your head up! If you keep at it, you'll hit a critical tipping point where everything starts working together and progress becomes more natural.
