I think you can no longer trust the vegetation shown on the map to the east of the picnic grounds. The trouble is all the varnish wattle that has died in the most recent dry spell. This dry was shorter than the Millennial dry, but it was more intense in this part of the world. So lots of wattles finally keeled over and low visibility white is shifting to green.
New legend-
dark green-fight
light green- probably fight
white- probably green
yellow- run
grey- run except when wet.
Korong is the best option these days.

Hawk 3Peat:
I like your legend.
I always struggle at korong. I seem to navigate well for most of it and then run into an area where it makes no sense and stuff up.

A while ago when it was though Victoria would host Easter in 2019, some prominent people were suggesting an assembly area in the major road intersection that could be used for three days at Kooyoora. I thought it sounded fine. After this weekend I don't. I am told we may be organising the Oceania Carnival instead. I doubt anyone would suggest three days at Kooyoora for that.
