You might be able to help me, my bike is sounding a bit like an americas cup boat at the moment. At my last race I swapped over to a quick release seat post. And since then it makes lots of funny noises from my carbon seat post. I have now changed back to the non quick release, but its still squeeking and creaking and carrying on. Help me Dr Phil. |

| Tom: | maybe sand or some dirt down your seat tube. try taking out your seat tube and cleaning both the post and the inside with some alcohol or meths. the best are these armour all car wipes you can get from super cheap auto or repco and there real good for general bike cleaning too.
if that doesnt fix it it might be dirt in the seat clamp under your seat. try cleaning that off too, take it to pieces give it a clean and give the bolts a really light lube. one of those should fix it. now if you all look under your seats, there is a gift bag for you to take home!!! including a book from my bookclub |
