In 2016 the Tour de France will be making a three-day detour to Switzerland. On 18 July the entire "procession" will race from Moirans-en-Montagne in the French Jura to Berne. Following a rest day, on 20 July the Tour will cover a 184 kilometre stage via Simmental, Saanenmöser, Col des Mosses and Col de la Forclaz heading for Finhaut in the Lower Valais. The finish line is at the Emosson dam.
