Yep, $800 worse off for the experience but no doubt cheaper than using a Subaru dealer.
Last time I went there it was "no charge". This time though it was $990.

I don't know what's happened to my Subaru dealer lately but I haven't paid more than about $400-$500 for my past few services, well excluding the last one when I had to get the diesel drained from the petrol tank. Prior to that they wanted to do any number of seemingly unnecessary things to it.
Well the battery registered "FAIL" when they tested it and I had to get two new tyres for rego.
Well at least from this Friday if your two unlicensed tyres catastrophically injure someone on the roads in WA, they'll be covered for it.
