Ribs schmibs, you're getting the most of the Scottish fells.
We had a similar experience, socked in up top. We did go up some other Munros (Munroes?) in brilliant sunshine though.

We've been mostly fortunate with the weather, can't complain. Didn't get to bag as many munroes as you guys did, but that wasn't the point of this trip - any running and scrambling that I did get was a bonus. It's been a great trip, saw a ton of stuff and Dad is feeling very Scottish.

It was awesome following your Scottish adventures. You got some great photos and I feel like I travelled there too! I'm impressed that you squeezed in so much exercise, given that you had so much else to do.

It was great following your Italy adventures too! You really had a spectacular trip in addition to your great race!
The exercise was relatively easy to squeeze in. I was just playing it by ear, not really intending to get any exercise but I did bring 4 sets of running gear in case. As it turned out, there were several days where Dad had had enough by about 4 or 5 pm and wanted to relax and watch a EuroCup soccer game on TV and then go for a late dinner after, so it was easy to leave him content in the hotel room and I could get out for a couple of hours. In fact, several times the considerate guy worried about me being able to get a run in and often offered that we could take a day off from sightseeing but I insisted that the point of the trip was to enable him to see as many things as he wanted. Great trip, we had a really good time. Learned a few things about Campbells though... Well, one thing. I might be a bit reluctant to let you sleep at our place...
