1cm is a lot on a bike. My serious bike buddies move mm at a time to get to that perfect spot.

I remember hearing 4 Olympic medalist, a world championship (maybe two) and two national champions in your group. It really was a world class field. I want to see Tara in Rio.

Next year I'll be able to stay for the whole thing - and will provide post race beverages.

1 cm is a lot!! Did it feel different to pedal from this position? If you get a saddle with a shorter nose, can you have the sitting position you like and the cockpit measurement will satisfy their rules?
Reminds me of Graham Obree in his movie The Flying Scotsman: he takes a hacksaw to his seat to satisfy their measurement rules.
Thanks for the inside story from the race. Wicked competition! If it were easy, everyone would do it ;). Cool that you are of the caliber to be there! (But of course you always want more ;)

It felt quite different to pedal from that position yes.
I had less quad access.

The Adamo is shorter but too wide for me.
I'll have to look for shorter narrow saddle options. I have asked Will if he will cut it down for me.

Ugh, 1 cm is huge. But I'm so proud of you for putting it out of your mind and racing as hard as you could on the day. You were still ahead of about 15 million Canadian women who *didn't* go to the National Champs! There will be a next time. It will feel better. Congratulations on all you've achieved so far.
