Think you'll like the course. Would be nice to have the run first to preview for the bike, but whatever. Only point of caution would be coming off Ball Mountain which is steep and chunky. Otherwise, it's fast(ish) for a course that high. More proper MTB race than the 100 bike though. If weather continues like this, a good thermal top option would be really nice. I ran SR as my first 50 years back and we got caught out in a major electrical storm, hail, and all the rest. I'd also neglected to leave warm clothes at the finish and when Rachel came to pick me up (an hour late), I was super hypothermic. That was back in the day before Lifetime when all that was at the finish was a person with a clipboard and one folding chair. Good times!

ha.. awesome story and thanks for the advice. the weather is so nuts up there. I'm definitely taking a lot of options and maggie will be at the turn around and I plan on making sure she has some extra warm stuff.
