Not every day such an opportunity presents itself! It didn't panic when you got so close?
It was certainly an interesting experience. It panicked so much that I considered moving on, but I stayed around for a few minutes and it got calm enough for me to get its antlers out of the knot they were in.
Now that is an impressive AOWN.
"At one with nature" - the (defunct, I think) slogan of the IOF.
Excellent adventure! Sounds like you really (puts on sunglasses) took life by the horns.
Aha... the IOF Wikipedia page
still has the old logo (which graced the IOF website for awhile).
I see. I wonder why they stopped using it.
Ian, that's what I'm known for: taking stuff by the horns... is that a saying?
Taking the bull by the horns is definitely a saying... are you sure that you live in Madrid? :) Seems like any resident of such a city would be familiar with all sorts of bull related idioms.
A bull in time saves nine... A bull in the hand is worth two in the bush... a watched bull never boils.... like a bull in the hen house... etc etc.
Oh yes! If it's bull-related, I'm an expert!
The bull is in your court; best of both bulls; raining cats and bulls; feeling under the bull; I really screwed the... I'll leave that last one out.
