that's a very nice path in that area. very popular... will be on our Gring's Mill/PSU Berks map

have you done the Thun Trail, Reading to Pottstown?

I was thinking about doing Birdsboro to Pottstown sometime in the next couple weekends... I think some of the parts of that trail closer to Reading aren't super safe. I have run on the parts around Trooper Thorn's but only in races with a bunch of people.

Yay for a PSU Berks map... I did a 5K in there in the spring and thought it would make a good place for a sprint.

Cool- lot's of good trails in the area.

The only real sketchy part is RACC to Stonecliff. West of the River is fine. Instead of crossing the river to RACC you can turn left on Old Wyomissing Road and get to another good trail system- the Wyomissing trail system that goes through the Reading Public Museum along the Wyomissing Creek. There is also a side trail to Angelica Creek Park by Brentwood Trailhead (Trooper's), which is worth a stop.

+Exeter Scenic Path (2.4 miles) is also close to the Gibraltar Trailhead.

Or Birdsboro to Pottstown is a nice ride as well...mostly flat, easy to follow.
