Yikes, I was following the news on Facebook and worrying about you guys!
At the moment, Ontario Tornado Watch is saying "there was a recorded 145km/h wind gust, boat and tree damage, and the storm was associated with a book-end vortex mesocyclone (rotation) on radar".
Also, "We've got quite a bit of evidence that we've emailed Environment Canada's research scientists... [including] some incredible photos with a VERY low and robust shelf cloud, large waves and a low hanging potential rain-wrapped wall cloud/funnel that looks to be reaching the water in one photo. This same storm had a reported and documented wall/funnel cloud just to the northeast of Go Home Bay."
There are some amazing photos and videos on OTW's Facebook page. I think you can see them since it's public.
It usually takes a day or three for Environment Canada to decide whether it was a tornado or something else. Regardless, it was really nasty. Glad you're all OK.
