I was up cairngorm on monday!

Wish I'd known you were around, as it would have been good to run with someone else. Having said that, could you see anything on Monday? We tried to pick the best day of the week and most of the rest of the time the hills seemed to be in the cloud. Great running.

...actually it was tuesday, had my days out! We went first thing in the morning and got around before the clouds and rain set back in. Very lucky and very beautiful!
Tessa and I were in Scotland for a bit less than a week, mainly running in very wet mountains. Sorry we missed you!
Are you headed back to NZ after France?

The rest of the family are heading back towards the end of next week, but I'm in the UK and Ireland for another couple of weeks after that. Not too many plans, though the first couple of days of the Welsh 6 day should be fun. Hope the WOC preparations are going well.

Yeah I thought about the Welsh 6 days, but in the end opted for OO Cup. Always have wanted to run it, and this year the terrain photos and map snippets were too much to resist :)
Cheers, it's been a rough season so far but I feel like I'm heading in the right direction now. Will see how the next month rolls out! Enjoy your remaining time in the north!
