randy:
I am getting a bunch e-mails on this, the question being, whether or not this will be an A meet. As I posted on clubnet, I realise that people who may want to go and who have no interests or cares in sanctioning procedures (and rightly so, IMHO), may need to buy airfare now. As someone who travels alot, I understand this.

Unfortunately, I have no answer. The problem is that it needs a waiver from the VP of competition to proceed. It has been in this state for a very long time. If it receives this waiver, then it will go into santioning (where it will likely become an A meet 20 days later, and the sanctioning webpage will be updated when this transition happens).

If you need more information, contact the VP of comp (contact info on the USOF web page). I apologize of behalf of USOF for this delay, but there is nothing I can do, (and, quite frankly, I have no idea what the reason for the delay is; I have received no communication on the matter myself).

I hope this is useful to any prospective attendees.

danf: Registration for the Anza Borrego A-meet is now open. Event details can be found here. FYI - the "online registration" does not accept payment. There will be a master pre-registration list at the event site registration area where you will need to pay your fees and sign that you have read and agree with the SDO waiver.
