I loved this and thought that the map was really excellent. Yes, not traditional O and you had to adjust the technique to suit the terrain, but I thought it was very challenging and rewarding when you got it right - and I can only think of one control that was hidden more than necessary. Agree that winning times were certainly optimistic.

I couldn't read the map well enough to interpret it with any degree of certainty - and that was with a new magnifier... Apparently the previous event used a 1:5,000 map, so why did they change to 7,500 this time?
