We sure don't get anything that epic here in Ontariariario.

Over 2000m of elevation in one ride! I have a hard time finding that much in a week

In Fernie there are at least three big clusters of trails and you can connect them all in the same day. We only did one trail in each area on this day. You could easily get double or triple what we did if we were able and willing to ride that long!

Yep, that was a sweet day, 2000m, we were commenting that that would be a big day on a road bike, nevermind off road.

And how did that beer taste? Great ride.

I hardly drink, but that beer ("Project 9 Pilsner", named after the trail I crashed on) went down way too easily. Verrrry nice :)
That brewery isn't losing money by giving away free beers. After riding 50 km and 2000 metres, who is going to have just one beer?

We all loved all the climbing :)
