Nice seeing you guys there and impressive race!

Bash:
Thanks, you were a great teammate!

@Mrs. Gally, 'Bent just realized it wasn't the podium debut for the Gally Girls after all since you took a medal in 2014. Well done!

Ms Gally, I fixed it. What a way for both Jr Gallys to win in the adult categories!

BGY, I felt great and would have done a BGY finish line dance if I had the talent.
I know how to pick a teammate!

Sounds like an excellent race all around (nav, stomachs, finish)! The Tree Huggers are hot!

Bash:
'Bent was funny. The race went from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Toward the end, he got a confused look on his face, "I'm really hungry." It wasn't a feeling he'd had very often while racing! I've often said that his stomach would probably feel fine if he were forced to race at my pace. I can almost always eat. (Unfortunately.)

I have the same 'problem' with beer. (Unfortunately.)

Sweet pic of the Kodiak. Looks like it has awesome clearance!

'Bent:
Tons of clearance, but least aero 'bent ever.

Aero doesn't really matter on mountain bikes. The upright bikes are getting much more upright too. It's all about being in the position that is most comfortable and gives the best handling.
Save the aero for your road recumbent.... And get a full fairing ;)

Aero matters for mntn bike in AR..., at least in expedition races where 80% of distance seems to be on paved roads, gravel roads and fire roads ...

'Bent:
Yup. I think I'm still a touch more aero than an MTB unless you're in the Froome downhill position, but not like other 'bents.

FB: that ain't mountain biking ;)
'Bent: that needs to be the N+1! and the full face helmet, even if it is just to make it all look more intense!

They need to allow these on the Time Trial at the TdF. Their TT bikes are already pretty weird. Let the big boys ride these, and things will really evolve.

If I was a roadie I'd have one of these, or maybe this
