Overall winners in the adult category of the 4-hour course!! That is really impressive. I hope Jacob is feeling proud today and has forgotten the swamps. Is he already talking about the next one? :)

Thanks! FB is was interesting that before the race we were talking to Will a bit with Gally jr listening about how he started young and had done a 24hrs real young. Perhaps the 8hrs is the next step. During the awards he was waiting for your team to be called for the podium but I explained to him that you lost the map for a bit and pulled Gally :)

And we just weren't moving fast on our feet... which doesn't bode well at Rockstar. John had a big chunk of his lung removed recently (6-8 weeks?) and he was a trooper but the heat and lack of O2 was pretty hard on him.

yikes, well then you did pretty good considering. I spoke to him after and he said he was done so he must have sucked it up pretty good. He seems young to be having his lungs removed?!

Precautionary thing do to an issue detected. In the end it's all good. He's a radiologist so he tends to find issues you or I would never know about until it's too late... but then we might also avoid some 'unwarranted' procedures or stresses that have no effect on our quality of life....
