what kind of superhuman eyesight you have, to be able to pick out a pickleball player (me) at Webster Park from a football distance away.
You had enough certitude to yell "hi Anne!" Very impressive !:)
P.S. Hope the bugs were not an issue on your walk :)
Pickle ball / Webster - looking for the two people I know who may be playing... Actually, the only two pickle ball players I know.
Still, you were a long way off and rightly did not say 'Hi' to Dick who was not there :)
Maybe yelling at women far away scared my date off. ;-)
We were all (I'm reasonably sure) anxiously awaiting a report on your map hike date. :) Preferably in as much detail as many people describe their orienteering course adventures ... But it looks like we're not going to get a detailed report, other than this hint that maybe things didn't go great??? :)
Tee hee. It was pleasant enough. Perhaps she'll show up to O one day, as she is a teacher.
(High % of female O's are teachers, from my limited sample size; males are science / engineering / numbers...)
Too much time spent O-ing, not much time for conversation. Just no connection on this one (a two way street).
I was unwilling to fight the tripper vine to find one in a shallow re-entrant. My friend who recently did Webster said that it was tough, as the brush has gotten very thick in there. Maybe that made her unimpressed with my O skills.

Lessons learned:
-Possibly have a little more email conversation beforehand
-If they have never been married, it may be awkward...
-Only one picture? Hmm.
