Its the torture version of pilates :) Its done on a machine, with a bar and platform at one end and a carriage that moves. The carriage is weighted by springs so you can change the resistance depending on the exercise. Core tends to have very light resistance to make it less stable and therefore more painful. Its great fun and you leave with legs like jelly after every class.
