... no way it's zero. Unless you walked 3 meters up the trail and just stood there. Actually I think even that would be a 1.

Agreed! Moving your joints, using your muscles in a movement that will later translate into running is a very important step of recovery. Give yourself the credit you deserve. I walked a lot after both my surgeries and also after both pregnancies. The best way to build up for running.
