Sam has never really ridden any great distance before so I had no idea how he would cope but he did great. At one point he got a bit miffed that the distance to Kelso had gone up and each day he would start to ask how far we had come a bit more regularly towards the end but he never complained once about anything.
A beatuful route through the Borders too; from the high hill moorland above Moffat down into the wooded valleys past Broughton, Peebles, Melrose and then out into the farmland around Kelso and down to the sea.
