Glad you guys were able to enjoy so much during your short visit! I keep telling everyone to come to Oslo and have some fun in Norway while we still live here, maybe I can point them to you as an independent witness to the fact that it's worth the trip!

BTW, I too love Vigeland's work, in contrast to my parents who think the sculptures are weird and ugly. :-)

Well, I think Norway is my new favorite country. Cristina, thanks for the maps and the tips. We learned something you can pass on to other mature visitors. The senior rate for the Flytoget applies for a senior (67+) and spouse, regardless of spouse actual age. Too bad we only found out when we were leaving. We went to a really good Italian restaurant on Tuesday, Villa Paradiso Frogner on Sommerrogata. Besides awesome food, the staff all seems to speak Italian, which was a nice touch.

You home? My brother and I are dining chez Lina and Angelo tomorrow (Thursday) evening, 6:30ish. I could probably get you an invitation. Even though with jet lag that may be way past your bedtime?

Villa Paradiso is another one of our favorites! That was our go-to place with visitors before we discovered the tapas place. You guys did well!

I will definitely pass on the info about the senior rate, especially to my parents, since my mother probably won't admit to being 67 even when she gets there! Even better, you're ready for your next trip to Norway.
