The fact is that the taste of sage probably wouldn't stand a chance compared to blueberries...
I'd rather be watching WOC in Sweden with the chance of finding the odd blueberry still not trampled by the orienteering hordes.

There were not enough orienteers in Estonia last week to make a dent in the bountiful blueberry marshes, although many of them got mightily distracted gorging on fruit.

You won't catch me making the case that sage is the more delicious of the two. I wish we had some nice blueberry marshes here.

Inner bear has been indulged - the blackberries are still in season in the far NW of the Pacific NW, so far N and mostly W, in fact, that a navigational error could result in consumption of Canadian blackberries. No sage here!
