I never noticed the route feature before. You have a good series going on this one. I just finally cycled the last bit of trail in Stillwater this last week.
Do you think it is feasible to follow the creek bed on foot in spring or fall? That looked like a potentially fun hike/bushwhack.

I use the route feature 2 ways : 1) for rigid fixed routes (100% the same each time ) and 2) for kayak trips by River ( but maybe a different section each time) . This then groups stuff easily and in a useful fashion for me
The Browns creek itself is mostly private land and posted as such . Also the DNR has signs asking folks not to go off trail at the occasional wider sections of the trail ; primarily they are concerned about steep erodible slopes).
So following the creek in the last mile down to the river would probably not be feasible.
Too bad. It's very enticing.
Yes, when it is high I have even eyed it for class III white water kayaking !
