Did you really run all the way up Snake Pass, or did you take the Doctor's Gate path?
Everyone gets lost on the top of Kinder at least once unless you have a compass. It's when you go hip-high in peat you need to worry. Looked a bit misty on Kinder from where I was today.

a few local pointers:
Waterfall = Downfall (often found blowing back onto the plateau)
Marshes = groughs

Yep I've run round in circles on the groughs too.
Who is the lucky partner for the OMM and what course are you doing?

I did the Doctors Gate route. Only found out at the top that the path was closed because of the river that I waded through half-way up haha

I really needed that compass. It was so tough when I was knackered.

Still working my way up so doing the A with Fellbaum. Guessing you boys are running too?

yep I'm in, and judging by Jonny's training he might be?
Hopefully Fellbaum doesn't have a day 2 like last year ;)
The top of kinder is a lot wetter than it was as they're damming a lot of it for peat/grough maintenance and flood prevention.

Na I'm just having some post season fun. Also trying to get half competent for the relays and Langdale. Not sure when I will have that crack at Elite but one day for sure.
