Yeah, I don't like to wear them as the ankles need to work to stay strong, but I've done so little terrain - or any - running, recently, that they were always going to be too weak for those tussocks. Back to the wobble board for me once the swelling has gone down but I'll also be digging out my active ankles for the next few races.

I only ever wear them for Oing so can get ankle strength from trail/hill running. I have found that once I had done them once no amount of wobbling can fix them for good and they are always weak(er).

BTW any idea why the splits printer didn't work. I looked at it twice and couldn't figure it out..I even tried a different printer,

Autodownload kept coming up with an error I hadn't seen, "Invalid Handle". I think it was something to do with recognition of the printer as a USB device. We swapped USB cable, USB port and even the printer - I suspect that there was an issue with the USB subsystem and port enumeration. I'd have tried a reboot to flush any cached USB issues, but there was a queue by then.

I restarted the laptop and swapped out the printer and cables earlier. I was told the laptop was recently updated to Windows 10.

...and I'll bet that the installed USB drivers aren't compatible with W10. Like so many other USB drivers.
