i dont take that but i do takew extra iron leading up, and try to put in some serious efforts as soon as i get to altitude - seems to get the metabolism shifting gears quicker. enjoy!
Thanks. Probably overkill but certainly helps in the transition zone between 9 and 10 thousand feet. Would recommend it if ascent quickly to 13000.
Never have bothered with anything. When we stay with our daughter near Leadville at 10000 ft, a couple beers usually does the trick, though also plenty of water. First few days of skiing can be slow with many stops.
