I was lucky with those trail bike riders. They happened to blaze past as I was heading into #11 so managed to avoid them (just, I did have a very small overshoot on that track so had to reverse a couple of metres).

#14, agreed - there were at least two other unmapped tracks in there before the 'green' mapped one. I think I got lucky because the family was there searching for it and told me they 'thought' it was this track (which it turned out to be).

#18, ugh - should never have been used. Incidentally, the track option south of the road was amazingly fast and fun.

I'm also fairly certain that first SI brick was out by 2 minutes, which is going to make TBT look pretty stupid since I'm sure most people didn't go the way I did.

I can promise you there aren't any overgrown tracks on the Aus long champs map (there are some newly bulldozed ones but they're not really used because they're crap) but there is a ton of climb. Today's course was ~450m; course 1 at the nationals is 1200m+

The trail bike riders were initially riding out of the track we were starting on! After they rode off, they came back again.
