never fly Belgian! Learnt that a long time ago. Copenhagen or Schipol are by far the best.

The problem with Copenhagen is that, at least on Scandinavia-Switzerland routes, the connections SAS put you on there seem to be impossibly short for anyone with checked luggage. Mind you, 2 1/2 hours wasn't enough for Brussels....

I've had some ridiculously tight connections in Copenhagen (and from the UK you have to clear immigration). Somehow they always worked out, stressfully for me, but not for the Finns and Swedes who just expect things to work.

Also agree that Schiphol is the best example of how to design an airport: always my preferred route even if it means KLM!

Poor baggage handling sprouts from anywhere, even Brussels.

My view of Schiphol is perhaps coloured by the fact that it was the location of by far my most awkward encounter with immigration officials anywhere in the world - normally entering the Schengen zone is straightforward (in fact, more often than not, they don't even bother to ask how long I'm staying or the purpose of my visit), but this one gave me the nth degree, including demanding to see printouts of hotel reservations for every night of the visit, evidence of insurance, and a few other things besides. Maybe I just struck someone having a bad day.
