...on the new arrival. Is it a 29er that feels smaller because of its frame geometry? Or did you go down in wheel size? Where did you buy it? (I'm still half-heartedly shopping but will likely need to wait for 2017.)

Did you peel off all your old AR stickers? those would be tough to part with - like badges of honour.

The old stickers are what holds my old frames together... and you never know when you're going to need to blow the dust off an old bike. I had to pull out my 13 yo Kona for the Patagonia race... I bought my first 29'r shortly after that :-)
Popik takes the prize.. the 26'r he rode at EA last year was 23 years new

And he flew the bike in a clear plastic bag! The best.

There's something to be said for that. At least they can see what they're dealing with and (hopefully) they'll be more careful vs just another box to toss (kick) around
