Vasko Stoyanov:
Welcome back in the blog! You did it pretty well at WOC. But have to say Lumdanes was supper. By the way at LD you finished without control description on your arm.Lost it or don't need?

Supper or not, but for me the most memorable moment was 29th leg of long race. It was supposed to be all clear what it comes to medals but then a certain dot began to go straight instead of right around the path and I thought that can't be possible - too far behind and path is so close - but the dot kept going and going ... it was very impressive to watch live.

I agree. What a great job fighting to the very end, Thierry!!!

Thanks all. A lot to say after this WOC, but I have lacked time. Will try to update my AP asap. Stay tuned ; )

@Vasko: The control descriptions disappeared during my short swim on my way to the 2nd control.

Yes, I noticed that too on the GPS synched replay--a great route to the 29th control that made a difference.

LEG 5-6. Ponds, overgrown or not, always shows the easiest route on the cliff area. (Magne Lystad)
