One of my more favorite years as a cadet. Freedom with little real responsibility. What year are you in? New to USMAOC?

It's a passing thing. Looking forward to meeting the new team members later this fall. The Campbell family has a soft spot in our hearts for USMAOC!

Hickory Run, then Classics and NAOC. Should see you for practice Tues/Weds that week, I'll have members of the Armed Forces O Team out for a training camp and figure we should do some training together. Perhaps some Old Grad O during homecoming weekend as that's our 20th reunion (both of us are '96). And if you get out to CA in the spring, planning to be there as well - we're about to retire, pull the kids out of school, and backpack nat'l parks / travel the world and O for the next few years. Who knows where else we'll pop up.

CPT Hannah Culberg tells me she met you somewhere along the way last year? Always good to see some experienced orienteers come onto the team and find a way to contribute - you probably know this, but you're in a good place. And great terrain to train on, too!

Great, I'm excited! And I think I remember meeting CPT Culberg, but I'm not certain, because it must have been a while back.
