JB just got me one for $375 and i am quite happy with it so far. I do not however like the movescount app for my phone. Can't get the watch to pair and sync. Part of the reason i wanted this watxh was for notifications on my watch and instant uploads....
Agreed, I'm not keen on Movescount either although I haven't explored the recent updates. I don't use it much beyond what is mandatory to load workouts and customize the displays for different workout types, and I never use it on the phone. I just learned they've added community and personal heat maps so that might be interesting to check out.
I'm not sure how/if the instant upload feature works with AP, which is where I want my tracks to live. Hmm.
Was a bee-otch trying to get Garmin 235 and iPhone 6 to pair. And I can't cause it to sync by my own actions, but it does get done somehow.
Garmin connect mobile is so so. It's ok so long as you have the non mobile version to fall back on.
$375 is an unbelievable price assuming that's the fully kitted out ambit.
Yes, the Ambit Peak is on sale for $500 at the Salomon Store and I thought that was good!
Garmin connect web sync is a snap on AP. There's never a problem once you get to the AP bit of any of it.
The reason i bought the Peak with HR, was the great price from Jocelyn. 375 with tax and shipping. Not sure where the got the deal or what truck it fell off. I wish AP could just synch with Strava....
