So much variety, and so many fun things to do. Cliff jumping in Ausable chasm, rollerskiing pretty much anywhere (9N from Elizabethtown is a sweet climb), hiking/trail running, bicycles, you name it.

But, I haven't been to Tremblant, so maybe it's just as awesome.

Alex! I was going to ask you about Placid but didn't want to distract you from battling the powers-that-be.

I was going to respond Nev but I couldn't find anytime in my work schedule to do so.
Tarno and I were chatting about how much we miss attending the Empire State Games Ski-O Champs. We used to do until it was closed off to non NY State participants though I saw some OOC guys raced it a few years ago. I'm apparently officially training for 2018 World Masters Ski-O. Want to join the DGL team? ;-)

The good news is that means more visits to Placid, Garnett Hill, Mendon ponds. That bad news is that may mean roller skiing has to happen. My 'brand new' roller skis have only been used 4 times since I bought them new in 2007.
