Hottest summer outright for Connecticut and Rhode Island (and driest for Boston).
Not surprising, but boy did it suck. Hopefully it cools down soon!

Normally the boost of 0.2 C or so that a strong El Nino gives to global temperatures disappears around August or September, but there are no signs yet of it doing so this year.
