The traces make fascinating viewing. It is comforting to see other people make the same mistakes as you, although l had an original one. Enjoyed seeing NB get going and catch DKn. DKn's consistency is nice to watch. I went the same slow and silly way as JF to 3. PS - discovered l can download my Garmin after all - l just need to learn how.

I found it hard getting into the map. I think I lost five minutes on bad route choice on the first and third control. Kept over running and missing the more open leads I was aiming for. And then I found myself forced to go further and further out from the red line to avoid crap. Avoiding crap is really important on this map. Thats obvious when you watch each leg of the 5 course one uploads. Bruce runs backwards out of 8 to get tp the clearest exit and I think he wins the leg. Anyway, after 3 I found my head on the map and was generally making up ground. Just not quite enough.
