It's 50% written but I always lack in the post-kids-to-bed energy to finish it off.
Don't blame you. I don't have kids but I still haven't written my report from UTMB 2014 so I can only give gentle nudges. I can't give anyone a hard time!!
Aren't you two some kind of remarkable and super accomplished international ultra distance endurance athletes who can do extraordinary things in the middle of nowhere with zero comforts and supports on next to no sleep at all? Do we need to make the composition assignment *more* difficult? How about a ropes section?
Seriously though, I find it hard to write up big races. It takes awhile to put them into context in my mind and life, and to figure out how I feel about them or what I learned. By then, some time has passed and there's no urgency anymore. Also, I really want to do a good job on the big races - so I end up doing no job at all.
