Another great run.

Question: do you think you're faster than last year, or just gettting involved in races which show your form more explicitly?

Thanks. I think it's a bit of both. I do think I'm faster than last year but I was still in great shape at WOC last year - I just didn't do any running races. As well, I think I have managed to stay in good shape for much longer this year than I have before..

Can I add another question: are you going to try to get into a race where there is a deeper field in the next wee while to push you on?

Baba - I was 3.5kg lighter at WOC this year than last. Now (and at WUOC) that's more like 2.5-3kg. Less work biscuits was pretty much the only thing I changed. I'm excited to run a XC season, but the nationals are a bit far away yet..
Spongey - I currently have no more road races in the diary, so any hopes at getting in a stacked race are probably going to be left until next year.. I'm not sure how much difference it would make though.

i dunno, most people's Abbey Dash 10km time is a fair bit quicker than their other 10km times as it's so stacked each year - although this may be more true for people around the 33min mark than low 30s.
