I practiced that a lot in my soon-to-be last job. Amazing how a hard run can lower heart rate, blood pressure, and even significant frustration levels given the right environment and circumstances. I'm hoping that you need more practice because things in Laramie are less aggravating, thus making the accomplishment more challenging.
I was thinking more in purely physiological terms. If I can successfully tune myself so that my heart rate drops (in a good way) while I am running, what a racing machine I will be! I will float up hills as if they were downhills, and I will run against the fierce winds as if they were tailwinds boosting my speed!
